Xuzhou Industrial Design Forum and Industrial Design Advanced Talent Training Course (First Session)
With the theme of ‘Innovative Design Leads the Transformation and Upgrade of Equipment Manufacturing Industry’, the ‘Xuzhou Industrial Design Forum and Advanced Industrial Design Training Course (First Session)’ was successfully held on December 8, 2017. It was co-sponsored by Xuzhou Economic and Information Technology Commission and XCMG. It was honored to invite the relevant leaders of China Industrial News Agency, China Industrial Culture Innovation Exchange Center, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Xuzhou Economic and Information Technology Committee to attend the forum. Several industry leaders in the field of industrial design were also invited to share their opinions about the theme. Also, the forum invited participants from the city government departments of Xuzhou, Xuzhou manufacturing design leaders and related personnel, college students, leaders of XCMG constituent companies, and related designers, which in a total of more than 160 people. The success of the ‘Xuzhou Industrial Design Forum and Industrial Design Advanced Talent Training Course (First Session)’ has become a ‘milestone’ event in the history of industrial design development in Xuzhou. It not only reflects XCMG's high regard for industrial design but also demonstrates the determination of Xuzhou municipal government to build a faster, healthier, and more comprehensive industrial design development path.
Xuzhou Sub-Forum of Jiangsu Industrial Design Week and the province-level industrial design advanced talent training courses
On December 24th 2018, the ‘Xuzhou Sub-Forum of Jiangsu Industrial Design Week and the Province's Advanced Talent Training Course for Industrial Design’ was successfully held with the theme of ‘Innovative Design Drive the Road of Equipment Manufacturing Industry’. The event was guided by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, supported by Jiangsu Industrial Design Association, Jiangsu Industrial Design Institute, and Xuzhou Industrial Design Institute, co-sponsored by Xuzhou Economic and Information Technology Commission and XCMG, and co-organized by XCMG Industrial Design Center and XCMG Road Machinery Division. It was an honor to invite the relevant leaders of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Jiangsu Industrial Design Association, and Xuzhou Economic and Information Technology Committee to attend the forum, several industry leaders in the area were also invited. Also, the forum invited representatives of the provincial and municipal governments, association representatives, and more than 60 of Jiangsu manufacturing enterprise representatives to attend the meeting, which is in a total of more than 200 people. To XCMG Industrial Design Center, the success of ‘Xuzhou Sub-Forum of Jiangsu Industrial Design Week and the Province's Advanced Talent Training Course for Industrial Design’ is not only a review of the achievements but also a demonstration and proof of strength. What was reviewed was the 9 years of scientific research achievements since the establishment of the center, while what was proved was the scientific research strength and social responsibility of the center as the industry's first national industrial design center.
